Meet Melissa
Founder & Principal Partner
Melissa, a native Carolinian, was born in Asheville, where her extended family—cousins, aunts, and relatives—still reside. She spent much of her childhood in the western states of Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and California before returning to North Carolina five years ago. California is also where her only daughter, MacKenzie still lives, with her fur baby Pepper.
Her passion for creating beautiful spaces began at an early age, inspired by years of decorating and redesigning alongside her mother. Saturdays were often spent rearranging furniture, shopping for new pieces, and refreshing home décor. This love for design evolved into a lifelong hobby, which she eagerly shared with family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers she met in the aisles of Target, HomeGoods, and Pottery Barn.
Melissa calls Wilmington home with her 2 rescue dogs and mother, Barbara When she isn’t working with her clients she loves volunteering, exploring new places to eat and shop and spending time at home in her yard.
